Abruzzese Salami & Corn Bread

A salami of the ancient Abruzzo tradition, it is put into natural casing and presents a fine grain mixture and white visible lard cubes. The slice has a bright red colour and the abundant ground pepper grains stand out visibly.
It has an intense and strong scent, still not aggressive. The taste is very spiced, it has a vigorous nature that grants however a pleasant taste with final touches of walnut. It tastes best with medium oblique cut slices.
Excellent combination with corn bread, typical of Abruzzo. Nowadays it is easy to find in the bakeries, and the most popular types are the long “filoncino” and the round loaf.
