Levoni group today

The Levoni Group consists of the Plant and Headquarters at Catellucchio (Mantua), the Mec Carni Abattoir in Marcaria (Mantua), and the two ham factories in San Daniele del Friuli (Udine) and Lesignano de’ Bagni (Parma).

Most of Levoni’s production takes place at the Castellucchio plant: salamis, Mortadella, cooked hams, Pancetta, lard and all speciality products. From here, all Levoni deli meats are shipped to the best stores in Italy and the rest of the world.

Mec Carni, one of the most advanced internationally recognised abattoirs, specialises in pig slaughtering and pork cutting. The company slaughters approximately 12,000 head per week.
The maturation of dry-cured hams takes place in the ham factories of San Daniele del Friuli (Udine) and Lesignano De’ Bagni (Parma), where Levoni PDO dry-cured hams are produced.
