Super toast with Hungarian salami, potatoes and nuts

  • 6-8 slices of sandwich bread
  • 10 slices of Hungarian salami
  • 2 medium-sized potatoes
  • 80 g of stracchino
  • 50 g of milk
  • 50 g of chopped walnuts
  • 1 egg
  • grated Parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper

First of all ask your helper to boil the potatoes, then once cold remove the peel and cut them out into not too thin slices. Cover the baking tray with a piece of baking paper, then place the slices of bread one next to the other so as to create a single layer. In a bowl whip the egg with the milk, a pinch of salt and if you want a little pepper. With a spoon, distribute about half of the egg mixture on the slices of bread to soak them well. Then have fun stuffing your super toast with potatoes, slices of salami, stracchino and chopped walnuts. Cover everything with the remaining bread slices and pour the egg mixture kept aside. Now ask your helper to immediately put them in the oven at 200° for 20 minutes! Once ready let it cool a bit before tasting a slice of it.
