Cowboy pie with Hungarian salami and beans

Ingredients
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry rectangles
  • 6 tablespoons of boiled beans
  • 6 slices of Hungarian salami
  • 3 tablespoons of ricotta
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pinch of salt

First of all prepare the filling of this weird pie: pour the beans into a bowl, add the ricotta, grana and the Hungarian salami cut into strips and mix well. Finally add the egg and a pinch of salt, and mix well for some more time. Take the roll of puff pastry and split it into 6 squares, place each square of puff pastry into a mould and make sure it sticks well to the bottom and edges, remove the excess dough. Now fill with the stuffing and cover with the dough. Ask your helper to put the mini pies in the oven at 180° for 20 minutes or until they are golden. Once ready ask your helper to remove them from the oven and let them cool down and then gallop away!
