Barchetta sandwich

  • 4 slices of sandwich bread
  • 150 g of spreadable cheese
  • 150 g cooked ham
  • 2 small frankfurters
  • 4 slices Hungarian salami
  • 4 olives
  • Salt
  • 4 wooden skewers sticks

These sandwiches are great for a party and in addition to boats, you will also be able to prepare small cars or what your imagination suggests you. Ask your helper to mix the cooked ham with spreadable cheese in a mixer until obtaining a smooth cream. Divide each slice of bread into four squares, then cut out the corners from each square giving it the shape of a boat. Spread the ham cream on the three slices of bread and place them one above the other and end with a fourth slice, press a little bit and put your boat in the refrigerator while you proceed with the remaining three. Cut the frankfurters into rings and apply three of them on each side of the boat as if they were portholes (to stick them use a bit of the ham cream). Then cut the slices of salami in triangles and pass them through in skewers: these are the sails! The flagpole of the boat ends with a nice olive. If you want you can have fun in creating other details with the remains of the bread. Keep boats in the refrigerator until it is time to serve them on a blue sea platter.
