Is Levoni present in the handbook of gluten-free products issued by the Italian Celiac Association?
Levoni is not in the Italian Celiac Association handbook.
Our choice of not being in this handbook is due to several reasons, one of which being EC Directive 2003/89 of 10 November 2003 on allergens, which establishes that manufactures are obliged to declare the list of ingredients and allergens, including gluten, on the label.
We believe we have got round the problem of appearing in the handbook: all consumers can personally check whether the products they are buying contain sources of gluten. |
