Levoni's Castellucchio (Mantua) plant, the prosciutto units in San Daniele del Friuli (Udine) and Lesignano de' Bagni (Parma), together with the Mec Carni abattoir in Marcaria (Mantua) are all BRC (Britsh Retail Consortium) and IFS (International Food Standard) certified.
The Levoni factory, the Mec Carni abattoir and the San Daniele del Friuli and Lesignano de' Bagni prosciutto curing facilities are all authorised to export to the USA and Japan, the two countries which impose extremely strict standards and carry out regular audits. The Levoni plant in Castellucchio and the San Daniele del Friuli prosciutto curing facility are also ISO 14001 certified. |
