History and
interesting facts

Cacciatori and takeaway salamis were the salamis that hunters used to carry with them during the hunts. Deli meats perfect for their caloric intake, given the long walks in the woods and in the countryside, they were also chosen for their proverbial deliciousness.

Organoleptic
properties

Salami Curvo is a take-out salami in the shape of a horseshoe, with a natural plumed casing with light moulds. The medium-grained slice boasts a nice red colour and the pearl-white fat parts stand out well. Already when cut, the good persistent, delicate aroma reveals the hints of seasoning and spices that blend in perfect balance. The flavour is homemade, rustic and sharp, dedicated to those who love traditional flavours.

Remove the moulds, then remove the casing and cut with a knife to obtain a bit thick slices.Particularly suitable to be presented whole on wooden chopping board and then cut directly at the table.

Pairing and Wines

Beverage pairings

This salami - snack par excellence - goes very well with Lambrusco di Modena and Reggio Emilia and, at the same time, it does not disdain unusual combinations like the one that sees it in great harmony with Moscato d'Asti. Try also with a Franciacorta Brut to embellish an aperitif.

Food pairings

Salami Curvo can be tasted on its own, accompanied by homemade bread or breadsticks. Sweet-and-sour crispy vegetables cannot miss; their sorrel taste perfectly goes with the strong character of this deli meat.
